Thoughts on a tragedy

Posted by Tim on April 18, 2007

There’s obviously not much a sports blogger can add to the national discourse on a tragedy as profound as Monday’s massacre at Virginia Tech. And I probably wouldn’t be tempted at all if it weren’t for the brief intersection earlier this year of this blog and a Hokies hoops blog after we slammed the ACC for its poor showing in the NCAA Tournament. But because the title of that post seems to have brought to this site at least a few people looking for information about the killings in Blacksburg, there a few things that need saying.

To any members of the Virginia Tech community who might have found us, you have our most sincere condolences. Know that you are in our thoughts.

And to anyone who has found this blog because of the unfortunately titled post I just mentioned, we apologize for any confusion. We’ve changed the headline of that entry.
