More on recruits from

Posted by Tim on November 13, 2006

To go a little deeper into Josh’s earlier post on SU’s 2007 recruiting class, here’s how they’re ranked by

Donte Greene, a 6’10” power forward from Towson, Md., is ranked 3rd at his position and 13th overall. You may recognize Greene’s school, Towson Catholic, as the alma mater of a certain magnanimous benefactor of SU’s men’s basketball team.

Johnny Flynn, a 5’11” point guard from Niagara Falls, is ranked 4th at his position and 21st overall. Flynn’s a former teammate of current BMOC-in-training Paul Harris.

Antonio Jardine, a 6’1″ shooting guard from Philadelphia, is ranked 15th at his position and 58th overall.

Rick Jackson, a 6’8″ power forward from Philadelphia (and a classmate of Jardine’s), is ranked 28th at his position and 98th overall.

Sean Williams, a 6’11” center from California, is ranked 20th at his position. There doesn’t seem to be an overall rank for Williams; maybe he’s not in their top 150.

Relatedly, Hoop Scoop‘s users ranked us second in a poll of top 2007 recruiting classes. The other contestants are Duke, Kansas State, Arizona, and Indiana.
